Front-end development: drive the development of the user-friendly web application and its features with React (JavaScript), Framer Motion, and TypeScript, as the primary front-end technology.


Collaboration with UI/UX: work closely with the UI/UX designer to determine user needs and goals, review wireframes and mockups to provide feedback, and ensure the feasibility of designs.


Collaboration with dev and stakeholders: work closely with the back-end developer and founders to ensure alignment and success.

Software engineering enthusiast: has a basic understanding of TypeScript and React, including HTML + CSS, Javascript, Framer Motion, React fundamentals, JSX, Node and NPM packages, Git


Scholar: intellectually curious. Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a related field.


Self-disciplined: highly organized in executing daily tasks, delivering quality work on time, and managing your time without needing daily supervision. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team


Strong communicator: have excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders in the development process, able to convey project requirements to team members, and frequently share progress updates

How Do I Participate in this Program?

All students who want to be considered for any of Gateway's internships need to be a student in the Gateway Internship Program. Submit your application to the Gateway Internship Program, then schedule a 15-min interview with our team member to be considered. Once you get accepted as an intern, you will participate in our training to get started on the internship.

Are there any prerequisites?

Yes, a basic understanding of ReactJS, TypeScript, and Framer Motion.

Am I guaranteed an internship placement?

No. Every student adheres to our application process, which includes the application form, student's resume, and interview.

How long is the Program?

The internship lasts 6 months with the option to extend. The pre-internship training takes about a full day of work to complete asynchronously.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM TUITION?

There is NO tuition. The program is designed to make the internship as valuable as possible for students, which includes:

  • Pre-internship training for the industry, role, and company-specific knowledge and skills.
  • Ongoing 1:1 support & mentorship to answer questions and give guidance within a day.
  • Offboarding guidance, which includes resume updates and thank you notes.
