What You'll Do & Learn
Create engaging and informative blog articles about career readiness, internship experiences, and professional development.
Conduct research on industry trends, student and school needs, and employer expectations to inform content creation.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and optimize blog performance.
Cultivate engaging social media content and digital content creation to resonate with the target audience.
Support with product development and management to improve user satisfaction, engagement, and other key metrics.

Length: 3 months
Schedule: 5-10 hours per week during the semester, 15-20 hours per week during the summer
Where: hybrid in McLean, VA
Stipend: $600

Candidate Requirements
Excellent writing skills with a focus on crafting compelling blog content.
Ability to work onsite in McLean or Falls Church, Virginia, once a week.
Enthusiasm for the edtech industry and a desire to make a positive impact on student success.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Currently enrolled in high school or a college/university program.

Will I receive a Letter of Recommendation?
As long as you do well in your internship, your supervisor(s) are more than happy to provide recommendation letters. We provide ongoing mentorship to ensure your success.
How Do I Participate in this Program?
All students who want to be considered for any of Gateway's internships need to be a student in the Gateway Internship Program. Submit your application to the Gateway Internship Program, then schedule a 15-min interview with our team member to be considered. Once you get accepted as an intern, you will participate in our training to get started on the internship.
Are there any prerequisites?
No. You are not required to have previous knowledge or experience in this field.
Am I guaranteed an internship placement?
No. Every student adheres to our application process, which includes the application form, student's resume, and interview.
How long is the Program?
The internship lasts 3 months with the option to extend. The pre-internship training takes about a full day of work to complete asynchronously.
