Gateway Joins Fairfax Founders Fund Third Cohort

We're thrilled to share that Career Gateway, Inc.—Gateway—has been selected for the third cohort of the Fairfax Founders Fund, Fairfax County's competitive grant program for high-growth startups. We couldn't be more honored to stand alongside fellow founders who are building bold technology right here in the county.
The Fairfax County Department of Economic Initiatives announced five trailblazing companies for this cohort—each chosen for high-potential solutions and the ability to capitalize on immediate growth opportunities. As a signature initiative of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, the program reflects the county's economic development strategy and Countywide Strategic Plan, and we're proud to be part of that story.
The Fairfax Founders Fund provides up to $50,000 in early-stage funding and technical assistance to startups headquartered in Fairfax County. Its mission is to fuel innovation-led businesses and jobs, connect founders to local partnership networks, and advance economic mobility—with dedicated outreach to underrepresented founders, including women, people of color, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. That commitment to inclusive growth is one of the many reasons we're so happy to participate.
Since our founding in 2022 by sisters HanhLinh Ho (CEO) and MaiLinh Ho (Chief Product Officer), we've focused on a single challenge: helping organizations turn scattered documents and tribal knowledge into AI-enabled workforce training—so teams onboard faster, retain more, and perform with confidence. The award will support enhancing core platform features and developing new system integrations that make it easier for employers to deliver learning at scale.
We're deeply grateful to the Department of Economic Initiatives, the Board of Supervisors, and everyone who makes the Fairfax Founders Fund possible. Fairfax County continues to invest in entrepreneurs, and we're excited to deepen our roots in Tysons and across the region as we build what's next for Gateway.
Congratulations to our fellow grant recipients—Aravenda, Bacchus Therapeutics, CyberMirage, and Zeracorp! We're inspired by the innovation across this cohort and proud to help shine a light on Fairfax County as a premier place for entrepreneurship.
